Our Story
Tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Glendon in the Hunter Valley, Little Chapel Glendon is a space filled with history, charm and heart.
Originally built in 1899 as St Mary’s Anglican Church, the chapel was once a place where local farming families gathered to celebrate, connect and support one another through life’s most important moments. For generations, it stood at the heart of the community — a place rich in stories, memories and tradition.
Today, more than 125 years later, that story continues.
Now lovingly owned by Robyn and Stuart Moore, the chapel has been thoughtfully restored and given a new chapter — one that honours its past while creating space for new memories to be made.
From the weathered timber exterior to the soft natural light that fills the chapel, every detail carries a sense of warmth and simplicity that makes people instantly feel at ease.

We are Robyn and Stuart Moore — proud owners of Little Chapel Glendon.
Alongside running Moore’s Earthmoving, travelling and spending time with our beautiful grandsons, we’ve always shared a passion for restoring meaningful spaces and bringing people together.
Interestingly, this isn’t our first chapel restoration journey.
Back in 1992, we purchased and became part owners of St Patrick’s at Nulkaba, transforming it from a quiet sandstone church sitting in a paddock into a thriving and much-loved wedding chapel.
Over the years, we’ve learned many lessons (and yes, our hairstyles may have changed along the way!), but our passion for creating beautiful spaces where people can gather, celebrate and make memories has never faded.
Little Chapel Glendon is incredibly close to our hearts, and we feel very grateful to be able to share it with others.
